I am from London and have privately tutored in English, politics, and sociology since 2011 and taught English at a further education college from 2012 to 2014 where I earned a teaching qualification, preparing to teach in the life long sector. I currently teach English at a language school in Leipzig, Germany and I also tutor privately. I enjoy teaching the English language as it is so varied; sometimes it can be very structured, logics and coherent, other times there is no rhyme or reason for why it behaves the way it does. I like working these problems through with a person, identifying their weak areas as well as building on their established strengths.

My students have ranged from business men to international students, carpenters to hairdressers, graduate students, PhD students and those who just want to improve on their conversational skills. I like to plan my lessons to build in some structure, so that my students get a sense of their own progression in our time together. But what I most like about one-to-one lessons is that we can go anywhere together and focus on the things more relevant to your development in the language.
